We are thrilled to have your child joining us for the Fall Semester 2024 of The Broadway Academy! Our students will be learning, working hard, and having lots of fun performing Aladdin Kids. at the close of the semester! Please read the following for detailed information.
CALENDAR:
Classes for the Fall Semester 2024 of Aladdin KIDS (Ages 8-12) will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 4:30-7:00pm. CLASS STARTS: Tuesday September 10th.
PERFORMANCES for Aladdin KIDS (Ages 8-12) will be held on:
● January 22nd @ 7pm
● January 24th @ 7pm
● January 25th @ 7pm
PRODUCTION WEEK AND ADDED REHEARSALS (attendance mandatory):
● January 11th- 10:00AM-12:00PM Saturday Rehearsal
● January 13th- January 17th- 4:30-6:00PM Daily Rehearsals
● January 18th- 10:00AM-12:00PM Saturday Rehearsal, 12:00-1:00PM Pizza Party (provided)
● January 20th- 4:30-6:30PM Final Dress Rehearsal
COST:
Registration/Costume Fee- $50, Due upon Registration- Paid through our website (LUDUS)
Fall Semester Tuition- $500, includes T-shirt, Pizza Party AND a DVD of Aladdin Kids Performance
(If PAID IN FULL by the 1st day of the Fall Semester- $50 will be discounted from the cost of tuition)

Mission Statement:
To provide professional and quality training and education in the arts to students in a fun and interactive setting and manner. The Academy strongly believes in the notion that professionalism sets us apart from all others and strive to bring out the best in each other. We also understand and teach the truth that theatre can bless, inspire, uplift, and teach those around us as well as ourselves as individuals, helping us learn and grow. The Broadway Academy will strive to provide opportunities to people in the Southeast Idaho Community with training in the performing arts. The Academy will focus on three different aspects of Theatre in the modern world- Acting, Voice, and Dance. It will be centered on helping students achieve goals in each of these categories, helping them gain confidence and distill a love and appreciation of the arts in our students.
The Broadway Academy Student Oriented Objectives
1. To help students build a portfolio/repertoire of several monologues and songs as well as a dance committed to memory to help in auditions and increase knowledge and confidence of each individual student.
2. To track students’ progress and have students advance through beginning to intermediate and advanced classes and onto more opportunities in the community and on.
3. To help students individually as well as a group through building their knowledge, technique, and ability to perform in all aspects of music, dance, and acting.
4. Providing a fun, safe, and moral place to learn the arts as well as grow personally.
5. To involve students in an educational youth musical to be rehearsed and performed every semester.
*Class Curriculum taught based on Instructor’s knowledge and approval of The Broadway Theatre as well as supervised and reviewed by the Center for credibility, professionalism, skill, quality, and ability.
